L-847 HV Circuit Select Switch
For switching the output of a constant current regulator to one or more series lighting circuits
The circuit selector switch is used for switching the output of a constant current regulator to one or more series lighting circuits. The circuit selector can be used on constant current regulators up to 30 KW @ 6.6A and up to 70 KW @ 20A. It is indoor and outdoor rated from -55°C to +55°C operation and high voltage relays rated to +125°C. This CSS has a Class B enclosure painted Aviation Orange per FED-STD-595. It features high voltage connections protected by acrylic touch-safe safety shield & fail-safe interlock circuitry for CCR Safety Shutdown. It has Molybdenum/Tungsten high voltage relay contacts rated for 1-million mechanical cycles, and provide low contact resistance (0.012 Ohms). It has very high Vacuum Hermetically Sealed High Voltage Relays rated for 150A (AC/DC) Load Switching and 25kV Operating Voltage. All with a Fail-Safe Switching Utilizing 45A Normally Closed (NC) High Voltage Shunt Relay. See datasheet below for more information.
The L-847 Circuit Selector Switch provides the ultimate in circuit selection performance. This robust design is rated for any 6.6A and 20A loads. High Voltage Insulators are rated for fully continuous operational voltages of 5000 VAC. The L-847 Circuit Selector Switch is available in versions allowing four, three, two, or one circuit controls.
